Homer Simpson. Dr. Gregory House. Those kittens of Tommen Baratheon’s that showed up in one episode of Game of Thrones and we’re never seen again. These are some of the most beloved characters in TV history, thanks to their humor, their honor and being kittens, respectively.
Unfortunately, some of the personalities that grace the small screen contain none of that. In fact, they’re the human equivalent of fingernails on a chalkboard, a complete waste of narrative space that makes you wonder why anyone bothered to write them in the first place.
