The Good Wife 7×13 Alicia Breaks Down: One of the best tv scenes based on acting and writing!

Those that’ve seen The Good Wife understand how amazing the show is and how amazing the characters are. This scene perfectly encapsulates so much about the show and Alicia Florrick’s character. She has spent those seven seasons trying her best to be the good wife, the good mother, the good friend, the good worker, basically the good everything. But also, she had spent years full of repressing so much regret and pain after letting Will go at Georgetown, choosing Peter and not Will, hurting Will with the start of her own firm, Will’s death, her friendship with Kalinda deteriorating, Eli defeating Will’s voicemail, and so much more pain!! She has tried with all these issues and setbacks to be good, and we see her gradually becoming less good and thinking of herself more than others for her own personal benefit because trying to be good is hard especially with all these terrible things that happened. Now, in season 7, she finally has a cathartic moment where she finally breaks down and lets all that emotion and pain out since she finally has someone she’s comfortable with enough to break down to. This show is set to build up to this cathartic scene. Also, Julianna Margulies is extremely talented throughout the show, and this scene proves literally that. What an amazing show!!
